Annie the "Telemarketer"
My friend Charlie emailed me about the opportunity to call people in New Hampshire today and urge them to go out and vote tomorrow- specifically for Mitt Romney. What else was I doing on this rainy day...I went out of my comfort zone and did it! I was able to make 21 calls before Callin woke up from his nap, but really had a lot of fun doing it! So I was driving past the other day and was gonna stop in to say hi, but there were no cars in site... Next time I'll have to call first! :0)
You are a brave girl! I asked myself if I could do that and it made me nervous just thinking about it.
So I talked to your mom today! I felt like such a VIP because I'm sure SO MANY people are dying to talk to her and can't. Haha. She was trying to reach Grandma Packard for her birthday, and for some reason she had my cell phone number written down under my mom's name. Lucky me!
P.S. Have you seen the movie for The Painted Veil? I absolutely LOVED it. I'm just wondering if the book is as good. If I should even buy it and give it a read...
