FHE
We had a fun Family Home Evening with the Lewis'- Bowling! I think we finally captured a smile from Callin. He smiles all the time, but you have to be in his face talking to him and tickling his chin, so it makes taking pictures a little hard. Doug bowled the high - 138, I bowled the low- 106! (Doug mentioned that I need to take some lessons from my mom when she gets back! She's a pro!)

Potato Lake
Growing up, my family was a frequent visitor of Potato Lake. This weekend I was sad to discover that what used to be a lake is now merely a pond. However Callin and I had a wonderful time. Brent and Emily were nice enough to invite us. Doug was pretty sad he missed out on Callin's first camping trip- but I assured him that sleeping in an RV hardly counts as camping. (Doug gets back from Utah tonight!)

The girls, after a beautiful 4 wheel ride through the mountains. (Emily popped a wheelie and nearly sent me rolling down a hill!)
It is wonderful to finally be home and sleeping in my own bed after being on the road and living out a suitcase for so long!
Callin loved the Ranger rides! He always fell right to sleep!

Great Grandparents Galore
Callin is a fortunate baby. He was able to meet 6 great-grandparents within the first 6 weeks of his life. (Including one step great-grandpa.)
On the left is Callin's 90 year old Great Grandpa Bliss Packard. This photo was taken about 2 hours before he passed away on July 15. Callin was very quiet as we sat with Grandpa in his last minutes and wished him a happy journey on the other side.

This is Callin's Great Grandma Donna Packard. She is the closest thing to perfection that I know. We are going to miss not being a couple blocks away from her. Yesterday we had her over to Great Grandma Lewis' (below) for dinner. She needed to get out of the house especially since it was 1 week since grandpa passed.

This is Great Grandma Barbara Lewis. She has been so sweet to let us live with her the past 3 weeks. We have had loads of fun with her! She has way more energy than I do!

This is Great Grandma Marian Smoot. She came down to Arizona for Callin's baby blessing.
This is Great Grandpa Doug Smoot- Callin's namesake! What a man for Callin to live up to! He is extremely kind, generous, productive, and a hard worker!
This is Great Grandpa Rob Franklin. He came down from Colorado the week my mom was in town. Callin (L), Jackson (C), Brody (R)
Now all that's left to meet is Grandpa Blair- or currently know as President Packard! I think Callin is so special since I was only able to meet 3 of my grandparents and 0 of my great-grandparents.

Callin's first baby pictures
We took Callin to KiddieKandids for his first model shoot. Besides disrupting the shoot with a huge blowout, he did great! To view the pictures, click on the link below or cut and paste it into your web browser:

Park City
I am a huge fan of Park City- the outlets, the alpine slides, shopping or just browsing Main Street, chocolate covered apples and bananas from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and of course the slopes (although my snowboarding days may be nearing their end)!
Here is Callin's first walk down Main. He loved the Bijorn!

1 Month!
A Whole Lot Of Firsts!
Finally, an update! We have been having a wonderful trip up in Utah! It started off with Callin's FIRST time on an airplane. He was wonderful. Since we were the last people to board the plane, when I walked on holding Cal, the whole plane got very excited to see the baby. Everybody loved him. After that, it was Cal's FIRST time to Vegas! (Although we only drove through it on our way to St. George.)
In St. George we were able to take Cal to his FIRST play, "My Fair Lady" to see Doug's Aunt Mindy as Eliza. He loved it (although he slept right through it)!

We took Cal to his FIRST movie: Evan Almighty. He thought it was very funny.

After St. George were were off to Provo. We took Cal to his FIRST BYU game- Easton's soccer game. (6 - 2 Go cougars!)
We had a great time taking Callin to his FIRST parade. He even loved watching the Stadium of Fire fireworks from Grandma Lewis' backyard.
