Doug has been on a surgery rotation the past month (and has been falling madly in love with the hands on gore & blood) I might add. We have had to do a little more of making the most of our Daddy time we do get.
| On a quick dinner/ change-roles-and-be-a-dad- for-30-minutes park break before heading back to the hospital. |
Doug consented to Rhett and I traveling back to AZ for a quick weekend only a mere 3 weeks of being back home! It was so fun to go and celebrate my sisters 30th b-day and cheer her on at her triathlon.
| (Born in 1980 equals a sweet 80's birthday party!) |
She did so awesome! |
And hanging out with my mom making this blanket for my new namesake was also a blast!
And while we were in AZ, Doug took Cal on a trip to Sea World in San Antonio for a little bonding.

Wow! Your blog has a whole new look. Fun! Your boys are just too cute! I want to snuggle with Rhett. It's so great to see these pictures. I love the one of you & Em at her race. You're looking spectacular Emily! Thanks for posting. I think I'll try to do the same. love, aimee
Ahhhh!!!! I look like a greasy lesbian body builder in that picture! I don't think I quite looked at it that close before! Luckily the tri pic is a little better! :) That was a blast....thanks for coming...a memory I'll never forget! And p.s.- LOVE San Antonio's Sea World!
love you tons!
Oh i love this post! That pic. of you and Em is hillarious! Why does that dress even look familiar? And in case I haven't told you enough, I LOVE LOVE that blanket. Sometimes I look at it just to make me happy:)
Love you,
Tara
The 80's picture is HILARIOUS! (I think I laughed harder at Emily's comment... hehe)
Your kids are darling Annie! And I love the baby powder post... hmmm... don't know how that happened?! :) Too cute.
I know why that dress looks familiar-- because Aimee wore it for Crissie's wedding! Hard to believe that was ever pretty, isn't it? That blanket is ADORABLE! And way to go, Emily!
